Chào các bạn !
Lonely đang gặp 1 vấn đề mà chưa có các giải quyết cụ thể cho dứt điểm lỗi này .Hiện công ty lonely đang dùng loại máy in HP laserjet 5200 nối với 1 máy qua cổng LPT và share cho hơn 10 máy con (máy tính nối với máy in cài win XP sp2 ) , mọi ngày nó vấn in bình thường không vấn đề gì cả nhưng gần đây khi mọi users nhấn nút ra lệnh in thì nó báo lỗi sau :
" Printer properties cannot displayed .The print spooler service is not running", lonely đã kiểm tra thì thấy service print spooler đang chạy ,workstation và server cũng đang chạy luôn , lonely thử stop service print spooler rồi start lại nhưng người dùng vẫn bị lỗi này ,không hiểu đây là lỗi gì mà ngày nào cũng bị .
Lonely đã tìm thông tin về lỗi này nhưng vẫn chưa có đáp án cụ thể , có người thì bảo dùng command SFC /Scannow cho nó fix file hệ thống nhưng lonely làm trên máy tính ( kết nối trực tiếp với máy in ) thì vẫn không hết !!! mỗi khi ai muốn in thì phải vào máy tính (nối trực tiếp máy in) rồi mở workgroup click mouse vào chính user đấy mới in được .
Lonely đã thử ping máy kết nối với máy in và nhận được reply , đã đóng firewall trên máy in , start ,stop service nhưng đều bất lực cả ! tính cài lại máy in nhưng không biết đó có phải là giải pháp cuối cùng không ? lonely cũng mới vô công ty ngay cả cd driver cũng không có !!! mà người dùng thì toàn ông khó chịu mong các bạn đã bị sự cố này rồi chỉ giúp .

Mình tìm thấy cái này, bạn thử xem:
Firewall blocks networked printer and other device IP Addresses. Printer message is: “Printer Properties cannot be displayed. The Print Spooler is not Running”
Problem: One or more of the following:
1. When attempting to print, you get the message in title
2. When attempting to View Home Network, it is not visible; computer, drives, devices, and files and folders not available/accessible
3. Fax or other devices attached to computer no longer work properly
Possible Causes:
1. Installed a new version or new virus protection/firewall software that is blocking access to the network and the IP addresses of computers/drives/routers/drives/files.
2. Print spooler is really not running
Diagnose:
1. Turn off firewall protection temporarily – 15 minutes
2. Attempt to print and or view devices
a. If can print or view, firewall software is blocking access
b. If cannot print, then Print Spooler may really not be running.
Fix Firewall Problem. Add IP addresses of all computers, devices, routers accessed
1. Open Security Software (The Following tutorial is based on McAfee Security Center v 7.0 – One of the least intuitive, multiple replicative terms, and most difficult software navigations I have ever seen)
2. In Security Center Home of Administrative Computer – there are two Home entries on the Home page
a. In listing under Home in top left of pane, click on Manage Network until bold
b. Router IP address will be displayed. Record it.
c. Click on each computer, connection, and device to display details
i. Record the IP address of each
ii. Do not leave this window
3. While in Manage Network window, click on Configure in lower left of left pane
4. Click on Internet and Network in top right hand pane until bold
5. Click on Advanced in top right of right pane
6. Click on Trusted and Banned IPs in top left of left pane until bold
7. Check Trusted IP Addresses (choose Trusted IP Addresses at top of window) list against your recorded network IP Addresses
8. Click Add button
9. Enter IP Address, one at the time, of each device/computer/router not listed in previous pane
10. Name under description
11. Click OK
12. Repeat steps 8-11 for each IP not listed
Restart/Start/Check status Printer Spooler:
1. Click on Start button
2. Choose Run
3. type in “Services.msc” without the quote marks
4. Enter
5. Scroll to Print Spooler – should show if spooler is running
6. Select
7. On left side, click start or restart
8. Or double clidk then set start up to auto and click apply and OK
9. OR see Start>Run>CMD options described elsewhere |

cảm ơn bạn venus nhiều lắm ! lonely thấy tài liệu trên mô tả hiện tượng chi tiết lắm nhưng cách resolve của người ta đưa ra với thiết bị máy in thì mìnnh đã làm ngay từ lần đầu rồi restart service nhưng không hết, off firewall cả 2 bên luôn cũng không hết , chiều nay mình có đọc tài liệu trên microsoft thì người ta đưa ra 2 cách là :
1.Restart service print spooler .
2.Cài lại máy in ( cách này mình ngại quá , vì không có cd driver ở đấy , vì công ty có công trình ở xa ) .
bạn nào còn cách giải quyết khác không , mong giúp đỡ .

Mình dùng máy in Canon Laser Shot LBP 1210 cũng gặp tình trạng như trên. Đụng dòng thông báo lỗi "Printer properties cannot be displayed .The print spooler service is not running".
Mình đã thử xử lý bằng 1 số cách sau:
1. Cập nhật Windows bằng gói WindowsXP-KB896423-x86-ENU.
2. Tải file spoolsv về chép vào C:\WINDOWS\system32\
3. Xóa hết các file trong C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
4. Restart service Print Spooler.
5. Restart máy.
Kết quả là in tốt.
Tuy nhiên, sau đó tầm 20 phút thì tình trạng không in được lại tiếp diễn ở cả máy chủ in lẫn máy con.
Sau đó, mình lặp lại các bước xử lý như trên thì lại được kết quả theo kiểu "lúc được, lúc không". 
Tóm lại, hiện giờ mình vẫn chưa có cách khắc phục hoàn toàn tình trạng trên. Bác nào có cách giải quyết khác thì chỉ giúp mình với.
PS: Giờ mình sẽ thử tiếp bằng cách cài lại máy in xem sao. |
