Duties include designing, implementing, programming, debugging, and testing ASICs, hardware and software. JOB DESCRIPTION + Perform Software-level testing of kernel bootloaders, Linux kernel services and peripheral drivers as well as various GUI applications. + Develop test plans and C test code to perform low-level software testing of driver functionalities. + Develop automation test suites to support ongoing software regression. RESPONSIBILITIES + Review design and unit test documentation, developing both manual and automated test suites for testing Linux peripheral software drivers ((Ethernet, GigE, USB, PCI, IPSEC, etc.) + Working closely with Software and Hardware Engineering for problem analysis and resolution + Performing usability and functionality testing for FA’S CLIENT’s board and transport drivers QUALIFICATIONS + BS/MS and 0-4 years of Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electrical Engineering or equivalent + Proficient in C programming and scripting languages such as Perl or TCL + Good understanding or background in hardware driver implementation + Must be capable of reading and understanding, a pre-existing code base. + Must be capable of reading and comprehending product marketing requirements and engineering design specs. + Good English and Vietnamese communications skills, both verbal and writing. Good teamwork.
