PHP Team Leader (5 Vacancies)

Description
Primary Role
- PHP Team Leaders work in project groups of the Delivery program and are responsible for the design, development, and implementation of web applications.
- PHP Team Leaders lead a team of web application developers responsible for developing and delivering web application development life cycle;
Working Relationships
- Report to Project Manager;
- Play many different roles in a project such as Acting Project Manager, Technical Prime, Designer, Developer, and Configuration Management.
Professional Responsibilities
- Can be assigned to play the role of Acting Project Manager, Technical Prime, Designer, or Developer and Configuration Management;
- Select the most appropriate technical solution (architecture, design approaches or preliminary designs) and then demonstrate proposed solution to the client and the development team;
- Establish the architecture of the web application developed;
- Understand non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, extensibility, maintainability and consult Technical Architect / Technical Prime to create solutions meeting those requirements for a complex enterprise application;
- Design the web application based on architecture and requirements;
- Write design / implementation / technical documentation;
- Aid in creating prototype / test applications;
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules;
- Participate in SRS / UC / design / code / technical solutions / technical document reviews;
- Coding, implementing, unit test, maintain, and troubleshoot web application;
- Work with members of project teams to make certain specifications are satisfied;
- Mentor and provide guidance / feedback to Junior and Software Developers;
- Participates in R&D, training, knowledge sharing activities;
- Scan the market for new tools / technology and evaluate them;
- Pilot new tools / technology;
- Make presentation / white paper for new tools / technology;
- Participate in the recruitment, candidate 1st round interview for Software Developers resources when necessary.
Education & Qualification
- BS Degree required;
Requirements
- BS Degree required;
- Advanced Degree beneficial.
- At least 5 years of working experience in web application development with PHP;
- Strong experience with some of frameworks/CMSs
+ Frameworks: Symfony is required, Zend is a plus
+ CMS/Portal: Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress
+ E-commerce: Magento, Prestashop.
- Well equipped knowledge with OOP, Design Patterns, Web services (REST, SOAP), Prototols (HTTP(S), FTP, SMTP, POP, SSL…);
- Solid knowledge of AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Mysql database;
- Expertise in Linux and *NIX command line will be advantaged;
- Expertise in Web security (Injection, XSS, CSRF, Misconfigurations …);
- Familiarity with SVN source control, web servers (WAMP, LAMP);
- Good practices in Web 2.0 and Social networking (FB, Gigya, Twitter, Myspace, Youtube) are pluses.
- Good knowledge of web application development process, especially web application analysis & design processes, implementation process;
- Good experience in technologies that match the company's focus;
- Good at English speaking, writing and listening skills;
- Aptitude to learn and understand new and emerging technologies;
- Good writing skills, communication skills, problem solving skills, presentation skills;Team-oriented;
- Ability to work independently - self directed.
- A can-do attitude to deliver quality results on time with minimal day-to-day supervision;
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of users, support staff and developers;
- Analytical, self-motivated and ability to work independently;
- Commitment to the team work and the company;
- With exceptional capacity to learn, adapt, and work with other team members to R&D;
