Dear All ,
Ngày hôm qua em mới cài xong bản CentOS 5.5 Final 32bit . Em đã cấu hình network ra vào internet bình thường vì em ping tới OpenDNS của google thì thấy có phản hồi và ping tới gateway cũng có phản hồi tương tự .
Nhưng em enter : #yum install firefox trong Terminal thì xuất hiện message :
"
Loaded plugins : fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
Could not retreive mirror list http://mirrorlist.centos.org/?release=5&arch=i386&repo=addons error was
[Error 4]IO error :<urlopen error(-3,'Temporary failure in name resolution')>

Em đã check và search thông tin trên google nhưng kết quả vẫn vậy .
Em đã thử 1 cách như : #yum clean all . em sử dụng câu lệnh này thì nó làm việc nhưng khi em thử câu lệnh #yum update thì vẫn lặp lại lỗi trên
Mọi người có cao kiến gì thì reply lại giùm em

Một trong những lỗi rất khó chịu liên quan đến yum. Bạn thử yum --noplugins update xem nó báo cáo gì.

Bạn gõ --plugins hay --noplugins mà nó lại báo thế này vậy:

mình gõ là #yum --noplugins update như bạn hướng dẫn mà ! nó hiện ra như reply của mình như trên

Bạn chụp màn hình lên đây coi. Mình không tin là gõ "--noplugins" mà nó lại bắn được ra lỗi kia, thế thì tài quá.

Hi quanta , chắc có lẽ mình nhầm như bạn nói vì mình check lại thì nó lại hiện :

Chắc chắn đang có 1 tiến trình yum nào khác đang chạy nên mới có lỗi này.

Mình nghĩ nếu mới tiếp cận linux thì dùng thuần thục các application trên GUI đi rồi hẵng nghĩ tới việc tươg tác nó qua console smilie

Bạn `rm -f /var/run/yum.pid` rồi thử lại nhé.

Mình đã làm theo hướng dẫn của bồ nhưng mà mọi việc vẫn vậy , không có gì khá hơn

Mình gõ : rm -f /var/run/yum.pid
rồi thử lại : yum --noplugins update

Dưa theo màn hình bạn chụp thì chỉ cần gõ Kill -9 3199

Tiến trình Yum không thể cùng 1 lúc mà chạy song song 2 cái được. Có thằng Yum updates đang chạy nên dĩ nhiên không thực thi câu lệnh yum --noplugins update

Mình đã làm theo hướng dẫn của bồ nhưng mà mọi việc vẫn vậy , không có gì khá hơn
 


Nếu chỉ chờ đợi làm theo hướng dẫn của người khác thì đúng là chẳng có gì khá hơn thật.

Bây giờ Server CentOS của tớ chạy phà phà

mình ko bị lỗi trên như chủ topic.Nhưng khi gõ lệnh yum update thì nó báo lỗi sau

mình đã gõ lệnh kill -9 9543 .Rồi gõ lại yum update thì update bình thường.Thank mọi người đã chia sẻ kinh nghiệm
