Note for iPod®/PSP® users
Producing MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) files for iPod Video®
Note: This feature may not be available in some CyberLink PowerDirector versions.
The files produced in iPod-MPEG4 AVC profile can be only played on Apple’s fifth-generation iPod Video®.
After you produce the file, please use Apple iTunes® to synchronize the produced files. Please read the user guide of Apple iPod Video® to configure the synchronization settings. Only after successful synchronization can your iPod Video® playback the produced video.
Producing Memory Stick Video files in MPEG-4 AVC (H.264) for Sony PSP®
Note: This feature may not be available in some CyberLink PowerDirector versions.
The files produced in PSP-MPEG4 AVC profile can be only played on the Memory Stick card of Sony PSP® with the new 2.0 firmware updated.
You can choose to directly output to a Sony PSP if it is connected to your PC. Or you can choose to output to the Memory Stick card first if the PSP is not connected to your PC, and then insert your Memory Stick card into a PSP to playback the video.
If you choose to output to the Memory Stick card, make sure you choose the proper directory to output the files. If you choose to output to the local hard disk directory, make sure you copy both the Memory Stick video files and Thumbnail Picture files to the destination folder on the Memory Stick card. All files should be stored under the first layer directory “MP_ROOT” and the second layer directory. The second layer directory “xxxANV01″ has to conform to following rules
The directory name shall consists of 8 characters
The first three characters, as indicated by “xxx”, are referred to as the directory number and shall be a unique number between “100″ and “999″
The directory number has to be the largest existing number + 1 when creating a new directory
Examples of legal directory name: “100ANV01″ “101ANV01″
CyberLink PowerDirector will automatically generate the file name to comply with the Memory Stick Video Format naming rules.
